The Suvarnabhumi Airport link is an elevated train comparable to the existing skytrain in Bangkok that will connect the new airport in Bangkok with the main city in a couple of minutes, and with its main station in the Makkasan Disctrict, near the famous Pratunam Shopping Area.
Both non-stop Suvarnabhumi Airport Express services and "stopping" Suvarnabhumi Airport City Line commuter services will last about 15 minutes and Commuter trips 27 minutes. The top speed is 160 km/h and is expected to operate for public in may 2009.
